Working on a new skirt to wear this weekend to the North Texas Irish Festival. Looking forward to seeing friends that I haven't seen since last year. Better check and clean flasks before putting Loki in them. Got some Rum that I maybe taking with me, better check and make sure I haven't already drank it all. lol

Taking time out from cooking and getting gifts wrapped to say to my Ren Family Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope everyone gets what they want and gets to spend time with family and friends. To those that are traveling, safe journey, we want to see you next year,

Gobble Gobble y'all! lol Happy Thanksgiving Day to all. Going to be with the family today and get things together tomorrow for a trip to TRF on Saturday.

Going to Muskogee, OK this weekend for the Feast at the Castle. Good food, good drink, good friends, good fun!!! Next weekend I'm going to try to make it to TRF at least 1 day. Got to see friends that I won't see again till next year. So be on the lookout for this Pirate, she's ready to party.

The weather may have been cool, wet and cloudy, but it sure made for a great opening weekend for the 35th year of the Texas Renaissance Festival. Saturday was cool and cloudy, which made it great weather to wear velvet garb. Sunday it rained off and on, I'm glad that I waited to wear the Pirate garb till then. I got to see some friends I haven't seen in months or even since last year. I've put up a few pics from the weekend.
