I thought I'd better post this before my weekend starts. I know I won't have another chance. I hope that everyone here on Renspace has a safe and happy 4th of July.

Its with great sadness that I post this blog. Final cannon has sounded for the year at the Castle in Muskogee, OK. This years run was the best for me, I got to spend every weekend with friends and my OK Ren family. What more can a Pirate ask for, except more Rum. Met a lot of great people, I'm already plotting, errrr that is making plans to see sometime in the future, hopefully before another Faire. Yes, there is 1 that I'll miss more than others, hmmmmm, wonder how hard it would be to kidnap the willing????

OK, on to other things. I didn't take that many pictures this weekend, way to busy visiting and saying goodbyes, so the ones that I did take are already posted for you viewing.

Now, must visit with Captain Greybeard and see when the next raid is.

Memorial Weekend was the 4th weekend of this Fabulous Faire. 1 more weekend to go but, its with sadness that I write that phrase. I love the people at this Faire and its always so hard to say goodbye to everyone. I've made so many new friends this year, thats always a good thing. I want to stay in touch with all of you, so please don't hesitate to ask for email address or drop me a line on here.

Now, on with happier thoughts. The weather gods were with us for 3 days this weekend. Sure, had a couple of showers but it didn't slow us down at all. Monday the Laundry Lasses held a wet Tunic contest for all us Ladies to enjoy. Its always a good thing to see a man get soaked. Yes, it was a verrrry good show. For this coming weekend I hope some of the Scarby friends make the trip to OKRF. There should be plenty of Loki still floating around this weekend. That reminds me, must go check the supply.

My weekends at OKRF just keep getting better and better. It was Pirate Weekend and the Pirates showed up in full force. They had a lot of fun trying to take the Castle, but the King and his troops held fast and the Pirates lost. Maybe next year we'll come out victorious. Satruday night was the Kings Feast and Chef did a most fantastic job, as always. Sunday dawned a most beautiful day, the first that had been had so far this season. A very good day indeed, the Pirates still lost! Must come up with a better plan next year.

Anyway, I'm posting pictures right now. Must remember to pack Loki for the weekend. Till I see you

Fair Winds, smooth sailing and plenty of Rum

Another fantastic weekend at OKRF. I LOVE this Faire. The King signed my Letter of Marque, so I'm "Legal" now.lol Bring it on Sheriff, I'll have that Letter with me so you can't put me in jail.lol Can't wait for this weekend, Pirate Weekend both at Castleton and at Scarborough. Wouldn't mind Scarby, would get to see the Bilge Pumps, but I've got too many friends to see and a Feast to go to on Saturday night. Yummmm Chief is cooking for us, that man sure can cook.

Anyway, a friend went to New Orleans over the weekend and took a picture of a T-shirt that I just loved. It said:  Lets flip a coin...Heads I get tail, Tails I get head
