I think I've finally thawed out and dried off from the weekend. Opening weekend for OKRF was wet and cold, but who cares? I had a fantastic time, let's see, Queen Eleanore Habsburg along with her Consort Don Carlos and Lord Alexander paid a visit to Castleton. I asked the King for a Letter of Marque, I think I'll get it this weekend (we'll see, if not I'll raid, pillage and plunder without it, just have to watch out for the Sheriff). Tried to catch up with friends I haven't seen since last year. Caught a couple of shows, saw the chess match, joust and a Knighting. Took some pictures that I still need to down load to the computer. I still haven't posted pictures from Scarby from the last visit. I swear I'll get it done in the next week, so keep an eye out.
I can't wait for this weekend to see what OKRF has to offer for me. I think that we'll have the masked ball this weekend. Must not forget the mask. Anyway, work calls and I must heed that call.

I had a great time at Scarby on Saturday. This Pirate went in disguise as a Lady in Waiting to Queen Eleanore Habsburg so that she could see which Royals would be worth plundering. Oh My YEEEEESSSSSSSS! there are quite a few wealthy ones around. I need to sit down and make a plan of attack, that is if the Scarby Pirates don't beat me to it.
I got to see friends that I haven't seen since last year and do a bit of catching up. Saw Harvey the Corpman from The Bilge Pumps wondering around the grounds. Found out the The Bilge Pumps will be a guest act on Pirate weekend. What great fun for all at Scarby that weekend. Seems like you can't get enough of those Pirates, they are fantastic performers.
Must run now, going to have dinner with the family. Will post pictures soon.
Had another GREAT weekend at Four Winds. My friend Mistress Red Fox came down from Oklahoma just to visit and go to the Faire. This was her 1st time at Four Winds and she was not disappointed at all!!! Sir Robert and his friend Spikey Crotch kept us in stitches all weekend. The beautiful Lily the Pink really knows how to woo a man!
(shamless plug time) If you ever get out to Troup, TX (outside of Tyler, TX) drop in to Four Winds, its a great little Faire to visit and has some really great bargains. You will not be disappointed.

MAN WAS THAT FUN!!!! I had so much fun on Saturday, just wish I wasn't going to a Baby Shower today. I'd be back at the gardens for another raid. Captain Greybeard got to know the owners of this garden and they have rebuilt a stone Ship. The Captain decided to take this ship as his own. He put out the call and a bunch of us answered. I just wish that the owner would quit taking the ship back, its ours not his. Pickings weren't that bad, could have been better if the weather had been warmer.

I had sooo much fun at Four Winds on Saturday. It was pretty windy and chilly. As long as the wind didn't blow it wasn't bad but, as soon as the wind picked up it got cold. Got to see some old friends I hadn't seen in awhile and made some new friends. Got to see some of the shows. They've changed some of the layout of the grounds. They've add a 2 story Pavallion where the French Court was staying. Next up is the North Texas Irish Festival. Take a look at some of the pictures from yesterday and I hope to see some of you at the Irish Fest next weekend.
